LEADERSHIP COACHING GROUPS
What is Group Coaching?
Group coaching is a powerful development mechanism that taps into the disparate perspectives and experiences of the group. It is fundamentally different from a workshop, class, or seminar in that the clients co-create the agenda with the coach according to their needs, experience, and business goals. Therefore, the substance of coaching is always on point for and in service to clients.
In Vescent coaching groups, each engagement has a theme (such as Leading Vital Change) and each session in the engagement also has a theme (such as employee responses to change). The coach prepares possible content around the theme that may be drawn upon once the group frames its guiding objectives for the conversation.
Coaching sessions are conducted via web conference and client participants join with video-capability enabled to support group dynamics.
Leading Vital Change
According to the Human Capital Institute, 77% of organizations report constant change. Change capability is vital to a company’s success, yet many do not pursue change with true vitality.
In this 8-week engagement, leaders will work with peers and a Vescent executive coach to address their organizational change goals. Topics include:
Mechanics of organizational change in achieving results
Self as instrument of change
Deciphering responses and engaging employees
Resistance: what it is and how to work with it
Who should register?
This coaching group is ideal for managers who oversee other managers (managers of supervisors, managers of managers, mid- to senior leaders, directors, leaders reporting to a vice president, etc.).
